Biography of Ho Ching
Ho Ching is the Executive Director of Temasek Holdings, a company that manages over $100 billion in assets and is owned by the Singapore Ministry of Finance.
She is also the wife of Singapore's Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong, who is the son of former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.
Early Life and Education
Ho Ching was born on March 27, 1953, in Singapore. She is the eldest of four children of businessman Ho Eng Hong and Chan Chiew Pin.
She completed her pre-university education at National Junior College, where she was named "Student of the Year" and received the President's Scholarship. Ho Ching then graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) with honors from the University of Singapore in 1976.
